IP55-rated frequency inverter

Specially designed for harsh environments and tailored to the requirements of pumps and fans, the drives are designed for use in industrial applications as well as in heating, ventilation and air-conditioning systems.

The new FR-A846 series with an IP55 protection rating has an output range from 400 watts up to 160 kW. A built-in EMC filter ensures full compliance with the EMC Directive (EN 61800-3, 1st environment, category C2) while a built-in DC reactor further ensures compliance with IEC 61000-3-12 for reducing and limiting harmonic currents so that separate certification is not required. 

The FR-A846 also has a built-in main switch version with locking option.

The IP55 series is suitable for the operation of both standard asynchronous machines and IPM/SPM motor technology. USB host and USB device functions help to simplify programming and parameterisation along with offering data logging functionality while integration into Mitsubishi Electric’s iQ Works programming environment is also offered.
