The new name emphasises Mitsubishi Electric Europe's strategy of integrating the extensive know-how and innovative DCS system, PMSX®pro, of ME-Automation Projects, for extending their automation portfolio for the process industry. It also highlights the affiliation with the Mitsubishi Electric Group and the strategic importance of ME-Automation Projects. While ME-Automation Projects will continue to operate directly in the DACH and Benelux regions, it will also expand their business in the other EMEA regions with the branches of Mitsubishi Electric Europe and local system integrators actively involved. The successful DCS system PMSX®pro is part of the business expansion in many sectors of the process industry. In the field of power station engineering in particular, the VGB R170 certification demonstrates the high performance and availability of PMSX®pro. This proven solution successfully controls many waste incineration plants, block heat and power stations, such as those in Frankfurt, Hamm and Iserlohn, as well as complex energy and power generation plants like that at Munich Airport. With its distributed system architecture, PMSX®pro also has unique advantages throughout the industry in the sector of large plants with decentralised distribution. This is also reflected in the high market share of PMSX®pro for implementations in large sewage plants. Customers of ME-Automation Projects are, for example, the sewage plants at Hamburg, Nürnberg, Stuttgart and Düsseldorf.
