The units can be customised by snapping a CPU to an HMI and adding the required I/O. The UniStream now gives OEMs or systems integrators a competitive edge in efforts to cut costs, save space and significantly lower programming time. Intuitive software is said to cut programming time by around 50%, by predicting programmer’s intentions and reusing written code .Programmers can build a library of user defined function blocks and HMI screens that can be imported to new projects or shared. The software’s predictions save significant time on definitions of I/O points, PIDs etc. The drag and drop, automatic line creation and re-use options of existing code make programming quick and easy. These featuers make the unit particularly suitable for OEMs and system integrators.UniApps - an expanding library of value added PLC embedded apps – allow data to be reached, edited and monitored. It is also possible to troubleshoot and debug the system. Unistream can be accessed remotely via both PCs and SmartPhones. UniStream supports RS485, CANopen, UniCAN, and MODBUS. It can adapt to third-party protocols; USB and serial ports and supports external devices such as modems, printers, barcode readers etc.
