On-premise reporting maximises flexibility and control

Invensys Operations Management has released its new SmartGlance On-Premise solution, a mobile reporting offering which is designed to deliver plant data and reports directly to smart phones.

Originally offered only as a cloud-hosted solution, the new On-Premise option allows for the local hosting and management of the application without the need for third-party services.

SmartGlance mobile reporting delivers vital operational data to plant decision makers and operators, helping them stay fully informed on their operational performance. Data from Invensys Operations Management’s applications, as well as other plant data sources, can be sent via a secure on-premise report server to existing smart phones used by plant employees.

The solution provides easy-to-view and easy-to-analyse data reports, taking advantage of the screen navigation features of mobile devices.

Examples of SmartGlance reports can be downloaded on a free app from any of the on-line application sites, including the Apple App Store, the Blackberry AppWorld, Microsoft’s Zune and Google Play for Android.
