iCelsius BBQ Cooking Thermometer

09 May 2012

The new iCelsius BBQ cooking probe is specifically designed to convert an iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch into a digital thermometer. Available as a free download from the APP STORE the new product offering works with the probe to simply read temperatures, create graphs, set-up alerts, store and email graphs.

The right angled, stainless steel food penetration probe has a diameter of 7mm with a pencil point sensing tip of 10cm length.

The i-Celsius simply and quickly displays the most recent reading from the iCelsius BBQ probe both as a digital reading and analogue reading. The user can set the iCelsius to show the temperature to read in Celsius (°C) or Fahrenheit (°F). The Red cursor shows the alarm upper limit (a blue cursor shows the alarm lower limit).

For more demanding cooking applications, the iCelsius conveniently shows the last minute data from the sensor on an easy to reach chart. The red line shows the alarm upper limit (if set). A blue line would show the alarm lower limit. As with many other apps, you can easily zoom in and out of the graph by simply pinching or dragging the frame.
