ABB offers full range of IECEx

ABB can now offer a complete range of high-efficiency motors for explosive atmospheres with the launch of IE2 motors in frame sizes 80 to 132. The full range of ABB IECEx/ATEX certified motors now covers frame sizes 80 to 450, with power ratings of 0.55 kW - 950 kW. The motors are rated at efficiency class IE2 at 400 V 50 Hz.

The motors are available in 2 to 8 pole versions, in all protection classes.

High-efficiency means savings in energy costs and reduced CO2 emissions while also offering the advantages of increased safety, longer lifetime, lower maintenance, higher reliability and uninterupted production.and of large end users both on- and off-shore.
