The new safe torque off version is denoted by the characters ‘SC’ after the ampere rating in the model number.The new model is 6mm deeper than the existing version across the power range, and is compatible with connectivity and I/O option cards when utilising kits created for the safe torque off model. Standard features of the unit include soft pulse width modulation (PWM) switching, a self diagnostic mode, advanced flux vector control, and a flux optimisation mode designed to save even more energy than a fixed variable torque V/Hz curve.
