ODVA training courses and workshops

30 August 2011

ODVA is hosting a series of training courses and workshops on Ethernet/IP across Europe in September.

Events include an EtherNet/IP 'Quick Start' Developers Training Course which is a one day event designed to help engineers starting the process of producing an EtherNet/IP device. It will discuss product functionality, implementation approaches, product design, and testing and will offer an in-depth review of The EtherNet/IP Specification. This course will be conducted in German with materials in English. This event takes place on 27th September in Raunheim, Germany.

On 28th September, also in Raunheim, Germany, there will be an EtherNet/IP Implementor Workshop, a collaborative forum for developers to discuss common issues and solutions and to provide recommendations to ODVA's technical working groups and the wider vendor community. These interactive, problem-solving gatherings are held several times a year and are open to engineers engaged in EtherNet/IP product development.

A EtherNet/IP PlugFest will be held from 25th – 27th October in Seligenstadt, Germany. These three-day interoperability events allow developers to run their devices against a predefined test configuration and test procedure. Testing concludes with interoperability testing in a full multi-vendor system configuration.
