Power selector enhances control of parallel inverters

At the SPS/IPC/Drives event, Control Techniques unveiled its new SPM Power Selector Module which is designed to enhance the flexibility of control of parallel connected Unidrive SP modular inverters,functions such as being able to switch automatically between controlling different sets of motors with different ratings, reducing the cost and size of the inverter systems where sets of motors are not required to operate together.

Other drive ranges on display included a dedicated servo range - Digitax ST – developed for use in lean manufacturing environments, which demand smaller, more flexible machinery. In such situations it can offer machine manufacturers and system integrators a compact servo drive with a good range of flexible integration features.
