19 October 2010

Automation software technology company ISaGRAF, now has representation in Germany. Marc Schoeters will act as ISaGRAF Northern European Business Development Manager.

Based in Limburg, Germany, Schoeters will enable ISaGRAF to provide customers in the region with additional services and support. He will represent ISaGRAF in the northern European countries.

Schoeters has more than 20 years experience in industrial and electronic businesses, in positions ranging from engineering to sales. ”The importance of customer partnership and local presence cannot be stressed enough,” he said. “From Limburg, just north of Frankfurt, we can pursue new opportunities in Northern Europe in a more direct and efficient manner.”

ISaGRAF was introduced in 1990, originally being designed to bridge the gap between microcomputer systems and PLCs. It has grown to become a software technology for open automation, applicable to the traditional automation, embedded control and soft logic markets.

IsaGRAF, a Rockwell Automation Company, recently started shipping Version 6.0 of this IEC 61131-3 and IEC 61499 compliant firmware and workbench for building industrial automation products. Version 6 utilises Microsoft Visual Studio Shell to allow OEMs and automation vendors to create differentiated products for their markets.
