New top manager at Contrinex

Peter Heimlicher, CEO and President of Contrinex AG, announced that Friedrich Keglowich, 54, is joining the company’s Managing Board on 1 February 2010, taking over the role of Chief Business Officer (CBO). In this function, he will head up International Sales, Marketing and Product Management.

After completing a degree in electrical engineering, Mr. Keglowich worked for BBC AG (now ABB) for 10 years, and then for SICK AG for nearly 20 years, where he was Managing Director and Industrial Sensors Division Manager.

“Mr. Keglowich has an impressive track record, superb knowledge of the market and a global network of industry contacts,” said Mr. Heimlicher.

“He comes to Contrinex AG as an brilliant professional, capable of leading the company's important product portfolio and significant market positions in Europe, Asia, North and South America.”

Annette Heimlicher, 32, daughter of the company founder, will also be joining the Managing Board on 1 February 2010. She will remain in charge of Corporate Development, where she manages the company’s global expansion and strategic developments.

Ms. Heimlicher has previously overseen Contrinex's market entry in Brazil and been building up the Industrial Safety unit. Furthermore, she is serving on several Board of Directors within the company’s country affiliates.

Ms. Heimlicher was formerly Associate Director at the World Economic Forum in Geneva. She holds a Masters degree in economics from the London School of Economics, and a Masters degree from the University of Geneva.

Dipl. Ing. ETH. Heimlicher, 64, will remain CEO and President of Contrinex AG. He founded the company in 1972. It is now a multinational group with over 500 employees worldwide. The industrial sensor company is Headquartered in Givisiez, Switzerland, near Fribourg (CH), There are more than 15 country affiliates in the markets of Europe, Asia, and North and South America.
