Bulanda takes Control Techniques top job

Control Techniques has welcomed a new president following the departure of Pierre Sarre who has left to pursue greater responsibilities within parent company, Emerson. Mark Bulanda now heads up the drives company following a 25 year history within Emerson.

Sarre, was president of Control Techniques from 1997 to 2009. He will now become group vice president within Emerson Industrial Automation with responsibility over Leroy Somer Motors and Drives and Control Techniques.

Bulanda is a mechanical engineering graduate and also holds a degree in management. He has worked within Emerson for 25 years in various roles including president of Ventilation Products Division, vice president and general manager of Air Moving Motors Division and corporate vice president of Planning. Most recently Mark was president of the Emerson Division, White Rodgers, a company operating in the HVAC industry.

Originating from the United States, Bulanda has relocated his family to Mid-Wales where Control Techniques main plant is located.
