Moxa targets Europe with German site

Moxa Europe has launched a German version of its global website, pinpointing its strategy to expand in Europe as the driving force behind the new resource. The company describes the new site as a ‘light’ version as some of the content, like technical support pages, accessories, datasheets, specifications and comparison tables for products all link back to the global website.

The company hopes the website will build awareness of the European organisation in local markets and increase the German customers´ awareness of local product promotions, services and specials.

Moxa Europe hopes to use it to distribute information to customers and the local media by automation of local enquiries, online information and downloads like press releases or success stories.

Finally, the website is designed to support the gathering of market research by collecting information on customers through analysis of the site usage statistics, or by online surveys.

The next step in the project is the launch of the French website version, which is planned by end of 2009.

Currently, Moxa Europe has two offices, one in Unterschleissheim near Munich, Germany, and one in Paris, France. The plan is to expand the number of offices in Europe gradually over the next three to five years.
