OPC Foundation announces Frankfurt workshop

The OPC Foundation is offering 40 attendees training in C++ and .NET development when it holds a Unified Architecture Developers’ Workshop in Frankfurt on September 22-24. The course is designed for developers and architects who plan to develop an OPC UA Server or Client.

According to the Foundation attendees who complete the course be able to incorporate OPC UA directly into their projects.

The workshop aims to teach OPC UA fundamentals and allow attendees to experience hands-on instructor led development time. The Foundation will teach OPC DA from the OPC Unified Architecture perspective and attendees are expected to learn OPC Alarms and Conditions within the context of OPC UA as well has how to develop products with OPC UA.

Attendees will receive copies of the SDK and a beta copy of the new OPC Compliance Test Tool.

The Foundation does note that all attendees of the training are required to bring their own laptop computer in order to participate.
