Targeted at common applications in the water, food and chemical industries, it has a measuring inaccuracy of 0.3%. Diagnostics of the instrument and the application are its forté: it measures the electrode resistance to determine electrode scaling and fouling; it measures electrode noise, which is an indication of gas bubbles and solid particles; and it monitors the coil resistance in order to diagnose the quality of the magnetic field and the flowmeter temperature value.
