12 year agreement for Mono

Yorkshire Water hopes to minimise maintenance and maximise savings after signing a 12 month joint framework agreement with Mono Nov. The pump manufacturer will supply the UK based subsidiary of Kelda Water with progressing cavity pumps, parts and ancillary equipment.

Every day, Yorkshire Water supplies 4.7 million people and 140,000 businesses in the UK region with 1.24 billion litres of drinking water every day.

With more than 700 water and waste water treatment works, 120 reservoirs and 40,000 miles of water and sewerage pipe, Yorkshire Water also collects and treats approximately one billion litres of waste water each day returning it safely to the environment.

UK sales manager for Mono, Mark Viner said the company was selected because its product ranges ‘offer high performance solutions that minimise maintenance and deliver significant savings’.
