Moxa´s new Gigabit Ethernet switch

27 January 2009

Moxa´s new Gigabit Ethernet switch EDS-G308 has eight Gigabit ports and up to two fibre optic ports.

It provides industrial-grade features needed to withstand adverse conditions, such as -40 to 75°C operating temperature, redundant dual 12/24/48 VDC inputs, and rugged fibre optic support. The optimum balance of speeds, cost, and long-term reliability allows to easily upgrade highly demanding networks to full Gigabit speeds, while connecting existing 10/100M Ethernet network. The switch offers relay warning for power failure and port break, broadcast storm protection option and an innovative power-saving design that cuts power consumption by up to 62 per cent.
