Speaker line up announced for Xchange 2008

Stephen Radley, chief economist of EEF – The Manufacturer’s Organisation, is set to open Xchange, 2008, according to organiser Wonderware United Kingdom. The business unit of SolutionsPT also announced representatives from SAP EMEA, Aseco Integrated Systems and Microsoft as key speakers for its Alton Towers, UK based event that will take place November 4-5, 2008.

The user conference and industry networking event is co-sponsored by upstream technology organisations as well as downstream integration partners, and is part of the global Wonderware program of conferences. Attendees will have the opportunity to take part in keynote, general and streamed breakout sessions, as well as hands-on workshops.

Radley will speak on the manufacturing sectors state of readiness to weather economic storms. He was previously with The Henley Centre and the CBI and now heads EEF’s work on economic and industrial policy.

Vice president of Manufacturing Operations and Execution for SAP EMEA, Simon Pollard is a former member of The Supply Chain Council and will speak about integrating shop-floor automation systems with enterprise layer business systems.

Michael Grasley, director for consulting at Aseco Integrated Systems of Canada and Nick Barnett, director of Manufacturing Operations EMEA for Microsoft will also speak at the event. Representatives from Wonderware Corporation in California include director of Product Definition, Niels Anderson and senior product manager, Jeff Nuse.
