Fieldbus heads for Wembley

Fieldbus Foundation is to host its next UK roadshow at Wembley Stadium, London, UK, following similar events in Reading, Manchester and Middlesbrough. Presentations and practical demonstrations will aim to demonstrate how Foundation fieldbus technology can be used as part of a single plant-wide solution.

The event will run from 9.30am - 4.30pm on September 25, 2008 and will be free to attend.

It is targeted at current or prospective end users, contractors, specifiers and implementers of Foundation fieldbus technology.

John S Hartley, chairman of the Fieldbus Foundation UK marketing committee, said: ‘To deliver such a clear and focused message for today’s enterprise in such a unique venue is very satisfying and makes for a very beneficial and memorable day.’

During the practical demonstrations, working host systems will be provided by ABB, Emerson Process Management, Honeywell and Yokogawa, with devices from BEKA, Endress+Hauser, Smar, Krohne, Invensys, Topworx and VEGA, and physical layer interfaces from MTL, MooreHawke, Pepperl+Fuchs, Stahl and Turck.
