Jens Holzhammer named as managing director of Moxa Europe

21 November 2019

Moxa has named Jens Holzhammer as managing director of its European operation. Holzhammer will zero in on verticalisation and promising niche markets by intensifying end-user relationships and optimising indirect sales channels.

Holzhammer succeeds Martin Jones, who will take on a new role focusing on expanding the rail business he has already built up at Moxa, which is now one of Moxa's core markets in Europe.
Holzhammer most recently served as managing director of the European subsidiary of Kathrein, a manufacturer of wireless telecommunications infrastructure including mobile radio antennas and IoT/ RFID solutions. Other roles in his career include sales and marketing leadership at Commscope (telecommunications infrastructure), Fluke Networks (IT network metrology), and Rohde & Schwarz (RF metrology).

He graduated from RWTH Aachen with a M.Sc. in electrical engineering, and received a Master of Business Administration from Henley Business School.
