Thermal camera with multipoint laser pointer

29 October 2019

FLIR Systems has introduced the FLIR TG267 thermal camera to its entry-level TG series line. The new model is said to offer improved sensitivity and resolution to help reduce diagnostic time.

The rugged FLIR TG267 allows equipment to be inspected, and problems identified from a safe distance by visualising hot and cold spots that can indicate larger issues. From electrical connections to mechanical breakdowns within a temperature range of -25°C to 380°C users can troubleshoot failing systems. The FLIR TG267 adds contact measurement with a Type K thermocouple probe for temperature readings.

The FLIR TG267 features a multipoint laser pointer to clearly indicate the area measured, as well as a bright LED flashlight for working in dark, difficult-to-reach spaces. Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology allows users to easily upload images and data to a mobile device for sharing and report-generation. The FLIR TG267 stores up to 50,000 images that users can play back on the 2.4in colour display which is more vibrant and 80-percent larger than earlier models. With a Li-ion rechargeable battery, the camera can operate for five hours of continual use.
