Manufacturing event

A Düsseldorf, Germany, manufacturing event will include speakers from the European Commission and Novartis, the organiser, World Trade Group, has revealed. October 6 to 9, 2008 will see the Swissôtel welcome delegates from manufacturers including Volvo, Avon, Honeywell and Michelin for the European Manufacturing Strategies Summit.

Düsseldorf landmarks

Jürgen Krüger, director of economies of the member states, directorate general for economic and financial affairs at the European Commission, Belgium and the head of TechOps sourcing at Novartis, Switzerland, Christopher Game, will be two members of the four-strong speaking panel.

The four-day event begins with tours around DHL’s flagship Air Hub and BMW’s production plant. The tours are followed by a three-day summit including keynote sessions, panel discussions and vendor-led interactive workshops.
