This issue of Profinews celebrates Profinet passing one million nodes. At a significant press conference held at Hannover Fair in April, new PNO Chairman and PI Chairman-designate Jörg Freitag announced that by the end of 2007 the number of installed PROFINET nodes had reached 1.14 million.
