A compact and space-saving optical sensor

With the 412B series, Leuze electronic has created a new cylindrical optical sensor with a compact, space-saving design for use in applications where installation space is restricted.

The metal housed sensor range is said to be use suited to use in material handling or in packaging machines, where space is often at a premium. 

New functionality in the new 412B series of switching optical sensors for object detection is available. It is offered as a throughbeam photoelectric sensor, as an energetic diffuse reflection sensor and as retro-reflective photoelectric sensor. 

In addition to improved operating range, response time and glass optics, laser variants as well as models with NPN switching outputs are available for the throughbeam photoelectric sensors.
