Following an Indian custom the management planted trees and a memorial plaque was unveiled in honour of Bethold Koch, the founder of the company, who passed away last autumn.Eric Purushotham, manager of Beko India, said the plant would produce ‘exclusively for the Indian market.’He continued to say the focus would be on ‘normal and high-pressure absorption dryers, CNG filters’ and ‘stainless steel high-pressure filters.‘As far as production is concerned, the compliance with the strict Beko quality guidelines is made a top priority,’ Purushotham stressed. ‘For this purpose, employees were trained extensively in recent months in the Beko central office in Neuss, Germany.’
