‘Tried and trusted’ meets ‘cutting edge’

Endress+Hauser says its new Deltapilot S FMB70 hydrostatic level transmitter is a ‘perfect fusion’ of old and new measurement technology. It retains the best features of the older version, such as the hermetically sealed CONTITE measuring cell, and now has an improved housing design for easy cleaning and extensive diagnostic functions.

The sensor delivers reliable, continuous level measurement—even in foaming media, pastes, or aggressive liquids and applications with changing conductivity. It offers outstanding accuracy (0.1% as standard) and increased long-term stability and reliability.

With its fully encapsulated electronics and a Hastelloy diaphragm, there is a high level immunity to corrosion, moisture ingress and EMC/RFI signals. It has traditionally been used in the dairy and brewing industries due to its performance on cold media such as milk and beer. It has a large range of process connections, including hygienic, and weld adaptors for installation in process vessels or pipes.

For those that need extended functionality such as historical trending (events, alarms, and warnings), the HistoROM memory chip option enables the storage and retrieval of important process conditions for improved process control and consistent quality.
