New Stainless Steel Pressure Reducing Valve Maintains Constant Pressure

Honeywell has launched a stainless steel version of its D06 compact pressure reducing valve, which in its original brass version has sold over 15 million units. The new D06FI can be used to maintain a constant pressure, even where there are wide inlet pressure fluctuations. It extends the popular D06 range to applications in pharmaceuticals, processing, chemicals, buildings, fire extinguishing systems and any industry requiring a stainless steel body and fittings.

The D06FI protects water installations against high supply pressures so reducing leaks and corrosion. By maintaining lower pressures it reduces water consumption and minimises system flow noise.
