F2 Chemicals used a variable area flowmeter to measure the flow of liquefied perfluorobutane and acetone. However the float within the device was believed to introduce turbulence into the gas flow, resulting in device failure.F2 Chemicals installed KROHNE's flowmeter because of its ability to measure liquefied gas reliably and accurately at low temperatures. Its twin "u" shaped measuring tubes provide excellent signal-to-noise ratio and measurement turndown.
