Turck’s ‘third pillar’

A German sensor, fieldbus, connectivity and interface specialist has made moves into food and pharmaceutical packaging markets, saying it wants to create a third pillar of sales.

Turk is already established in the automotive and process industries and wants to expand.

Dr Bernhard Grimm, who will spearhead the new move, said Turck was well positioned within these target markets.

He continued: “After intensive market research we will be able to meet the requirements of automation even better in this field with our further developed product offer.”
