The consortium is made up of information technology companies and aims to develop meaningful, platform-neutral standards, measurement methods, processes and new technologies to improve the energy efficient performance of global data centres.“A fundamental element of Rittal’s corporate values is to increase efficiency of secure voltage supplies and consumption in all our present products as well as in future developments,” said Bernd Eckel, executive vice president of information and technology at Rittal.
