Visitors to the Schneider Electric stand at Offshore Europe, in Aberdeen, can learn about the company’s capabilities for power management and automation solutions

The power and control specialist will target the oil and gas industry, showcasing its products on stand 1413C, from September 4 to 7.

The company hopes to convey the importance of safety and reliability for both offshore and on-shore applications. In addition, it claims to address the needs of improving performance and increasing productivity by offering services for maintaining and upgrading equipment to extend asset life, as well as providing new installations.

Schneider has a long history in the oil and gas sector and says it can boost power management systems with new automation offers.

The company claims its Modicon range of automation controllers offer a flexible and low-cost way to meet the demands of increased productivity for numerous applications, while also meeting the needs for safety and high availability. Combined with Vijeo Citect software solutions for real-time reporting and management, Schneider says it can boost plant efficiency and performance, from power through to control.
