News - OPC specification for ADI gets Malvern thumbs up 23/10/2009
Malvern Instruments has welcomed the release of the first OPC analyser device integration (ADI) specification. The UK headquartered company was one of the founding members of the working group established in 2008 to develop a common method for data exchange and an analyser model for process and laboratory systems.

The OPC Foundation is offering 40 attendees training in C++ and .NET development when it holds a Unified Architecture Developers’ Workshop in Frankfurt on September 22-24. The course is designed for developers and architects who plan to develop an OPC UA Server or Client.

News - OPC targets pharmaceutical industry 20/02/2009
The OPC Foundation has released the draft Analyzer Devices Integration (ADI) Specification, providing the pharmaceutical industry with a common method for data exchange for analyser data models for process and laboratory analysers. The specification was developed as a logical extension of the OPC UA specifications and serves as an information model for analyser devices.
