Tablet meets the needs of large groups of users

02 June 2014

Captec has introduced the X220 semi-rugged 10.1in tablet and TCS tablet charging station, a multi-device cableless charging solution which, together, are said to allow large numbers of users to use tablet computers, reducing problems caused by storing and charging numerous devices in one place.

Up to 20 of the tablets can be charged simultaneously between and, if required, during operational hours when used with the TCS. This equips users with constant quick access to charged devices, without the hassle of using cables or power outlets.

An ergonomic design allows users to carry the devices via an easy-grip handle and an integrated stand allows it to be positioned for ideal viewing.

The X220 is said to be suitable for use as a workflow tablet, it is compatible with the majority of Windows 7 software for business, enabling compatibility with many existing software applications, bridging the gap between commercial and specialised rugged tablets.
