RISC-based cloud computer for data acquisition and process automation in the field

Moxa´s UC-8100 series of RISC based embedded cloud computers can be used with the company’s MXCloud, a proprietary, open cloud platform - enabling users to make use of customer-specific services through personal interfaces.

The UC-8100 RISC cloud computer is a universal computer designed for embedded data acquisition solutions.  

The computer comes with up to two RS-422/485 serial ports, dual 10/100 Mbps Ethernet LAN ports, and a Mini PCIe socket for cellular modules. 

The versatile communication capabilities allows users to adapt the UC-8100 to a wide variety of data acquisition and communications applications. In addition, the computer comes with programmable LEDs for user-specific messaging, and the computers run the universal Debian 7 operating system for ARM with Linux 3.2 Kernel.
