Tata Steel extends EEMUA membership Europe-wide

11 March 2014

Tata Steel has extended its membership of EEMUA from just the UK strip-steel hub to include all of its manufacturing and related operations Europe-wide.

Kevin Peacock, Tata Steel Europe’s Group Asset Integrity Engineer, explained: “We are adopting a one-company approach, wherein all the businesses (that are now part of the organisation) are also part of the same thought process and follow the same procedures, practices and standards. EEMUA is very much a part of this approach.”

EEMUA chief executive, Clive Tayler, said: “Since joining the Association, Tata Steel has been an active contributor to EEMUA’s work programmes and we certainly welcome their closer involvement with the Association on an international level.”

EEMUA is an international non-profit membership organisation that aims to improve the safety, environmental and operating performance of industrial facilities in the most cost-effective way, developing and promoting leadership in industrial asset management.
