Power plug for proportional valves

14 August 2012

The new digital power plug (PAM-190) is an innovation of functionality while, at the same time, offering easy handling features.

Unlike some typical power plugs the PAM-190 can be adjusted both 'in situ' similar to potentiometers or with a notebook (with our start-up-tool WPC-300).

The adjustment in situ is realised with integrated buttons (UP/DOWN) and a selection switch. Typical parameters (MIN, MAX, RAMP and DITHER/PWM) can be set easily.

For more complex requirements or repeatable adjustments a serial interface is provided (in this case a LIN-bus). With our LIN/USB adapter (ULA-310) the parameterisation can be done directly with our start-up software WPC-300. The power plug is delivered for free-cabling (with 3 m cable and reference voltages) or with a M12-connection (following the DESINA-standard). Voltages range of the power supply from 12 V to 30 V is suitable for industrial and mobile applications. The operating status is signalized with two LED´s. Various input signals can be configured by flexible input scaling (0 to 10 V, 0 to 5V, 4 to 20 mA). A special version with a switching input is also available as a soft switching plug.
