A wide range of variants are available to meet the needs of the demanding chemical, oil and gas industry

High-efficiency means savings in energy costs and reduced CO2 emissions while also offering the advantages of increased safety, longer lifetime, lower maintenance, higher reliability and uninterupted production.and of large end users both on- and off-shore. The motors offer insulation class F as standard and are rated temperature rise class B. Following ABB recommendations for variable-speed drive (VSD) duty, the standard motor is suitable for VSDs up to 500 V.

The motors are based on a proven, highly successful design that has been developed to offer further improvements. An i

Motors for explosive atmospheres are not covered by the EU MEPS energy saving regulations, for instance, but they are included in IEC standard 60034-30.
