Unlock the potential of your operation

12 October 2010

Manufacturing Enterprise Solutions Association (MESA) International is a worldwide not-for-profit community consisting of manufacturing companies, information technology hardware and software suppliers, system integrators, consulting service providers, analysts, editors, academics and students. Their combined purpose is to improve business results and production operations through optimized application and implementation of information technology and best management practices.

MESA provides a variety of programs and events that aim to help manufacturers better understand what is possible in terms of information technology to improve profitability, business value, agility, and customer satisfaction and to teach companies about the deployment of new technology.

This year’s MESA European Conference takes place at the Swissotel in Düsseldorf, Germany from 8th to 10th November. With a focus on ‘Unlocking Your Operations Potential’ and on how plant floor visibility will help manufacturers and producers improve their performance and measure the value of their enterprise solutions.

This year’s agenda sees presenters from Rolls-Royce plc, Carlsberg Breweries, Linde Gas, Continental Automotive, TYCO Electronics, Daimler Trucks, Dürr Systems, Chr. Hansen, Avebe, Sovello, FrieslandCampina and more, sharing their first-hand experience in applying MES and how information technology is used. Additionally, analysts and experts will share information about trends in MES and how to achieve operational excellence.

Delegates will also have the opportunity to share and learn in an open, participatory environment in the 'Unconference' session, which is described as an intense multi-discussion, multi-room event with no script. Bring ideas and desire to interact with peers - and test the brains and bounds of the MESA community. Anyone with something to contribute or with the desire to learn is invited and welcome!

The conference will be accompanied by an exhibition space where MES vendors and service providers will share and present information about their offerings in products and services.
