Catalogue Release - maxon motor Program 2010/11

The new catalogue from the world's leading supplier of high-precision drives and systems will be available from mid-April.

Maxon motor has always invested heavily in research and development, process optimisation and ultimately in innovative products. The new products in the 2010 catalogue reflect the very varied product program that has grown from that investment.

Containing around 3,000 products, the maxon 2010/11 catalogue sets out the entire program of intelligent drive systems offered by the Swiss manufacturer. Its 368 pages feature more than 1,700 brush and brushless DC motors, 963 gearheads, 137 spindle drives, 58 sensors, a range of drive electronics and much more. The catalogue also showcases a broad range of new products, including high-speed brushless DC motors for medical technology, brush DC motors with improved power density, intelligent controls, an innovative micro-encoder, various gearheads, such as the low-noise Koaxdrive gearhead and the new maxon spindle drive product range.

Every copy contains an electronic version of the catalogue on DVD featuring detailed information on brush and brushless DC motors. maxon’s modular system with gearheads, DC tachos, encoders and resolvers is set out clearly and is easy to follow. All dimension drawings are also available in DXF format for import into any CAD system. The maxon selection program (msp) included on the DVD helps users quickly and easily find the best drive solution from the wide range of combinations. The variations and alternatives are displayed visually for speedy assessment. By changing the parameters, drive designs can be optimized simply and effects identified accordingly. The msp is the ideal tool for customers who are interested in highlighting and solving a drive problem themselves.
