Multipix celebrates Technology Day success

22 March 2010

Multipix Imaging is celebrating the success of its Technology Day in Oxford, UK. The company used the event as a platform to present 3D vision technologies to colleagues within the machine vision industry.

All seats were taken as MVTec, software developers, demonstrated HALCON 9.0 image processing software producing 3D solutions.

MVTec successfully programmed within HALCON's HDevelop throughout its presentations, allowing delegates to witness the development environment offered as part of the HALCON software package. HALCON 9.0 provides an extensive library of more than 1300 operators with outstanding performance for blob analysis, morphology, pattern matching, measuring, 3D object recognition, and binocular stereo vision, to name just a few.

Julie Busby, head of sales at MultiPix Imaging said: “The day was a great success, attended by many companies, all with a desire to learn more about the latest developments in machine vision technology.”
