To achieve careful drying it is wise to set a maximum value for the quantity allowed to be withdrawn in a given time period. Eg: 50g/kg per minute is determined.
Determination of product moisture
In order not to pass this value the water content in the inlet and outlet air is measured (in g/kg) and the difference of both values is used as a control parameter for the process temperature. The set value for the maximum temperature is given by the desired end value of material moisture.
