Protection for industrial bus systems

The overvoltage protection terminals ‘MCZ ovp HF’ are designed to protect industrial bus systems as well as fast analogue systems.

The 6-mm terminal block is suitable for Profibus, Interbus, and CAN bus systems. It utilises a two-stage protection combination with a bridge circuit consisting of suppressor diodes. Signal attenuation by the protective electronics is low; signals are not delayed. Requiring no screws, the module snaps onto the earthed mounting rail. Contact with the rail secured by an stainless steel omega spring guarantees reliable discharge characteristics.
