Colour or monochrome cameras up to 1.4 megapixel can be used, and the two camera ports can be increased with additional FireWire controllers. The system is designed for monitoring complex quality characteristics, and the storage and documentation of test data in short, and ever decreasing, cycle times. Thanks to a directly integrated card with 16 digital I/O, separate breakout modules or I/O boards are not needed.
