Endress+Hauser pulls out stops for 40th anniversary

18 September 2008

Swiss process automation company, Endress+Hauser welcomed around 1,500 customers, suppliers and employees to Bridgewater Hall, Manchester, in celebration of its 40th anniversary in the UK.

The Gala Concert, exclusively for Endress+Hauser’s guests, was held on September 11, 2008, and followed the opening of the company’s new offices.

Built on the existing site in Manchester, the new premises incorporate a sales, service and manufacturing facility. The company says it has improved training facilities and has opened a Visitor Centre capable of seating 120 people.

The proceedings were attended by Manchester’s Lord Mayor Mavis Smitheman, local MP Paul Goggins and Endress+Hauser company founder Georg H Endress and his family.
