Endress+Hauser’s offshore display

Endress+Hauser has highlighted its Promass 83F Coriolis mass flowmeter, in anticipation of the forthcoming Instrumentation Scotland and Offshore systems 2008. The Aberdeen, Scotland based show will throw open its doors, from September 3 to 4, to visitors from the offshore industry.

With ATEX and FM approvals for hazardous areas, the Promass 83F measures volume, mass flow and density of liquids and gases. It can operate in temperatures up to 350˚C. In addition, it is compatible with HART, PROFIBUS PA/DP, MODBUS and FOUNDTION Fieldbus.

The instrumentation specialist will also display its Cerabar S range of pressure transmitters, suitable for harsh environments. The transmitters are designed to operate at high temperatures and offer diagnostic functions, simulation and analysis.

Finally, the company also outlined its ATEX- approved Levelflex M guided radar. It offers functional safety up to SIL2 in accordance with IEC61508/IEC61511-1.
