University welcomes visitors from industry

De Montfort University will throw open its doors, to visitors from the business world, in an open day next month. June 11 will see a showcase of engineering, computing and environmental research at the Leicester, UK university.

Guests at the annual Research Open Day will be able to learn more about the work being carried out by DMU's Faculty of Computing Sciences and Engineering, the Institute of Energy and Sustainable Development and the Emerging Technologies Research Centre.

There will be presentations on a variety of topics, from robots in the Centre for Computational Intelligence to the innovative work of the Rapid Prototyping and Manufacturing Group.
