Pressure compensated control valves for precise control of a constant flow

01 June 2018

Mass Flow ONLINE B.V has introduced the new Flow-Control series, designed by Bronkhorst, for precise control of constant flow rates in low flow gas and liquid applications.

The control valves do not require any electrical power source, as the desired flow rate is manually set via the needle valve. Upstream or discharge pressure variations are automatically compensated by a built-in membrane operated valve to ensure a steady, constant flow. The valves promise a pressure sensitivity of less than 0.5-1% Rd/bar.

The manually operated, pressure compensated control valve series is available in four different versions to control flow capacities in a range from 0.02 ln/min up to 50 ln/min (N2-equivalent) and between three up to 1800 ml/min for water. Process connections are optionally available, the in-line valve assemblies are equipped with G 1/4in BSPP female in- and outlet ports.
