Ethernet switch has its own external memory

31 March 2008

Harting’s managed Ethernet Switch family mCon 7100 has been upgraded with a new feature—its own external memory.

This extra memory, which is housed in a robust Han® 3 metal housing, remains at the switch location and if a switch exchange is required, the new switch is connected to the external memory so that it starts automatically with the stored system parameters. No need for startup by a network specialist.
