Seven up for Invensys

Invensys Process Systems (IPS) has added seven wireless-enabled solutions to its InFusion Enterprise Control System offering.
The company claimed the solutions would improve overall asset performance management.
New wireless-enabled solutions included Mobile Workforce, providing employees in the field with secure roaming access to real-time control systems, and Field Data Logging.
Invensys wireless-enabled applications are in various stages of implementation at various plants including a chemical complex on the US Gulf Coast, petroleum refineries in the US and Europe, and several US power plants.
