The new MCS10 multi-component sensor, from HBM, enables multiple forces and torques along three axes to be simultaneously measured.

The multi-component sensor features a design which minimises the effect of crosstalk across the axes and offers a variety of configuration options to ensure simple integration combined with high precision.

Suitable for use in a variety of applications – such as robotics, test bench design and assembly lines – the compact design of the MCS10 also lends itself to other applications where dual-axis measurement is required.

Featuring a compact and cylindrical design, the latest range of multi-component sensors is also available in a six-component sensor version for additional acquisition of torques in the x, y and z direction.

The sensor incorporates TEDS functionality combined with HBM measurement electronics, can be simply integrated into a system to achieve accurate test results across the entire measurement chain.
